How we handle the information you send us through this website.

Who we are
This website is run by Studbrand, Muthuthi Road, Westlands, Nairobi, Kenya. For any question about your personal information, email info@studbrand.com.
What we collect
When you send a contact, consultation, valuation, demo, partnership or quotation request, we collect the details you type into the form: your name, email address, and, if you give them, your phone number, organisation, role, country, herd details, products and message.
To protect the forms from spam and abuse, we also record the date and time, the page you sent the form from, your browser’s user agent, and a one-way scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address. We do not store your IP address itself. Forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which may process technical information about your browser to tell people from bots.
We count visits to the website without cookies: the server keeps a daily total per page and a scrambled visitor code that changes every day and is deleted after two days. Visits are not counted if your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal.
If you create an account, we keep your email address and the profile details you enter so you can sign in.
Why we use it
- To reply to your request and send you the quotation, demo or information you asked for. You agree to this when you tick the box on the form.
- To send you an automatic confirmation that we received your request.
- To keep the website secure and prevent spam.
We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to a mailing list unless you ask to join one.
Who processes it for us
- Supabase, which hosts our database.
- Resend, which sends our emails.
- Netlify and Cloudflare, which host the website and protect the forms.
These providers may store data outside Kenya. They process it only on our instructions.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to deal with your request and any follow-up work, and delete closed enquiries after 24 months unless we have a contract with you that requires us to keep them longer.
Cookies and storage
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Your browser stores your quote list on your own device so it is still there when you come back; you can clear it at any time. If you sign in, a sign-in token is stored in your browser.
Your rights
Under the Data Protection Act, 2019 you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and you can object to how we use it. Email info@studbrand.com. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner of Kenya.
